School Visits

When we go into schools, we deliver three core activities. First, our mentors give inspirational talks where they share their personal journeys - how they navigated barriers, entered industries where nobody looked like them, and turned their backgrounds into strengths. These aren't generic motivational speeches; they're authentic stories from professionals, university students, and community leaders across six divisions including entrepreneurship, creative, corporate, academia, health, and sport. The power lies in students meeting someone who once sat where they sit now.

Second, we host Q&A panels that give students the chance to ask real questions directly to our network of over 100 associates — including Oxbridge graduates, corporate lawyers, senior bankers, doctors, and creatives. These sessions break down the distance between young people and the professional world, letting them explore careers, challenge assumptions, and hear honest answers about what it really takes.

Third, we run workshops focused on both soft skills and practical skills. These cover areas like confidence-building, communication, career planning, and financial literacy, giving students tangible tools they can use immediately. Our workshops are tailored to each school partnership, ensuring the content meets students where they are.

Together, these activities form the foundation of our school and community outreach — opening doors, shifting mindsets, and building the belief that brilliance exists in every postcode.

Competitions

We believe that brilliance lies within everyone. We created our competitions to stir curiosity and allow students to challenge themselves to tap into their unfound potential.

All Souls Challenge

Inspired by Oxford’s most prestigious fellowship examination, our All Souls Challenge introduces students to the rigorous thinking and eloquent expression expected at elite universities. Students tackle philosophical questions, analyse complex problems, and develop sophisticated arguments.

But don’t let that intimidate you — this isn’t about knowing all the answers, it’s about learning to think deeply and express your ideas with confidence. Anyone can join and we are excited to read all of your entries.

Applications are open! - Deadline Thursday 2nd April 23:59

Innovation Challenge

Our Innovation Challenge channels entrepreneurial and STEM thinking towards real problem-solving. Students identify genuine challenges and develop feasible solutions, learning to think like entrepreneurs, engineers, and scientists. This competition proves that innovation isn't about having resources - it's about seeing problems differently and imagining solutions creatively.

The Arts Challenge provides a theme and complete creative freedom, allowing students to express themselves through any medium - written word, visual art, music, film, performance, or hybrid forms. This competition celebrates voice, perspective, and creative courage, proving that artistic expression isn't a luxury for the privileged but a powerful tool for anyone with something to say.
